Danville 44 Lexington Christian 28

I started watching when LCA was up 21-7. As soon as I started watching Don Harris takes it up the left side all the way to the end zone. Well, the rest is history.

I'd like to think I have something to do with that win. :)

If these projections are accurate, it looks like East Ridge is the team that has to drive all the way to Danville to find out they are in a world of trouble.

I am a little surprised that Danville will have to play Somerset in the 2nd round. I was thinking that would be Middlesboro.

I feel pretty confident that LCA will get another shot at the Admirals but you have to play the games. Never know what will happen.

You could argue that by having to play Somerset in the 2nd round the district #1 seed has a harder 2nd game then the #2 seed.

Yes that is much harder draw.

As for me I think the Ads may ha e found themselves after getting down 21-7. Their defense woke up and started getting pressure on nieves and covering receivers better. Offensively it was the van cleave show, I have said it before it is an absolute shame he is t two inches taller. Also this was first game where Christian hill had both hands in a while and man does that make a difference. When he is healthy the defense is so much better.

My question now is if l a can regroup and their mindset going into the rematch.

Seems odd to call a game between two undefeated's a statement game but man the Ads seem poised to run the table. I was concerned with injuries a couple of weeks ago and they still have to worry about them a little but psychologically this has to set them up for anything that comes their way. Just glad the ref's didn't screw em.

Impressed with both teams, either one of these teams could easily win it all. Van Cleave is all that, man his burst of speed is incredible. Really liked LCA, the way they spread the ball around, they will make a lot of teams struggle badly... And thanks to the folks at prepspin, they do a great job!

Impressed that Danville was able to slow down that offense.

LCA's lowest point totals in two years. 28 vs Danville and 28 vs Danville

Best open field tackling team I’ve seen this year. They do a great job tackling in space.

Guess Danville put to bed all this overrated talk from a couple of weeks ago.

Somerset is the three and has to travel to Shelby Valley, the opposite district two. In theory based on seeding, Shelby Valley should win and set up a 1 vs. 2 in the second round, but in reality Somerset is head-and-shoulder better than Shelby Valley, thus setting up a marque second round tilt between the Admirals and Briar Jumpers.

I saw Wheatley had 95 yards and nieves 89 but does anyone know how many carries they had a piece.
