Danville 44 Lexington Christian 28

Ok, here's my take, I only saw second half, but wow! Danville QB, Thornton, awesome, # 4 for Danville ( warren) unreal, #53 for Danville, ( beast).

QB ( Nevis) for LCA, really good. This was 2 really good teams. NOW, I'm gonna call it like I see it, and some of my Mayfield partners ain't gonna agree I'm sure, Mayfield, should they get to Lexington, can't beat Danville. Sorry guys, and I know you want me to be all positive, and what not, but there you have it.

Everyone can be beat. Not to bring up memories but I remember no one giving Hazard a shot in 2011 after the way 2010 played out. But with the coaching staff Mayfield has I wouldn't count them out.But that's why the game is played. I watched this game and it was pretty much neck and neck. Danville made them plays in the second half. Hopefully there is a rematch.

No, SOMETIMES, teams go undefeated.

I agree sometimes. But I like some teams who know what the taste of defeat is. Some teams can lose and learn while some win but not learn.

That's true for sure.

Danville had everyone back tonight. Now they will get two weeks to get everyone healed up for the postseason. The Admirals are going to be a tough out in the playoffs.

Just received a message that this is Danville's first perfect regular season since 1994.

Fewer things in high school football are prettier than Danville's silver helmets, white shirts, and silver pants.

Went back and looked, you are correct. They've been 9-1 seven times since then, but never perfect. That 1994 team beat Bullitt East for the AA state championship.

I haven't lived here long enough to know so I was just relying on the message. Hard to believe it's been that long really. They earned it this season. They definitely played a legit schedule.

If these projections are accurate, it looks like East Ridge is the team that has to drive all the way to Danville to find out they are in a world of trouble.

I am a little surprised that Danville will have to play Somerset in the 2nd round. I was thinking that would be Middlesboro.

I feel pretty confident that LCA will get another shot at the Admirals but you have to play the games. Never know what will happen.

These two teams will play again in 4 weeks a lot can change in that time. Will be interesting to see how much.
