Thanks for the honest feedback guys. It seems in line with what I'm hearing - that the fumble was questionable, but the other 2 were clear penalties. Honestly, that's good to hear that refs did a good job. Congrats to both teams for a great game. I heard the atmosphere was great.

We will never know.

Pretty sure we know. CCH had a running clock on Beechwood in the 2nd Quarter.

SK is just not a good 6A team.

2 different games.

What do people think about the 3 TDs called back against BW who were there - I'm hearing mixed reviews. Obviously, big calls, though. 3 TDs called back is unheard of.

Block in back was a good call. Totally unnecessary block though. Too far away from the fumble to say either way.

Let's address the elephant in the room

The fact Beechwood went stride for stride confirms that SK is not ready to compete with the 6A big boys.

Conversely, the fact Beechwood went stride for stride confirms that Beechwood is probably a cut above the rest in 1A.

It also tells us that Covington Catholic is the best team in NKY by leaps and bounds

Beechwood is capable of beating anyone in 6A outside of the top four or five teams. Beechwood beat Conner 24 - 7 in a scrimmage.

Yes, Covington Catholic is significantly better than Simon Kenton.

Want a participation trophy with that?

Weren’t you the one that posted about how Ryle just barely beat a team? Your team just barely survived a 1A team. Maybe it’s time to look at the facts and realize that SK may not be as good as you think.

Impressed by Brayden Trattles tonight...solid player. That was a STRONG interception at the end.

Parks, Courtney, Nash, and Cogswell looked good as well.

That kicker Seger...outstanding game.

SK is 7-0 winner winner chicken dinner!

Beechwood coaches need to study the film on that interception play. That is the exact same play Covington Catholic had an interception on against Beechwood. Is something tipping that play?

They played great tonight JJ Courtney has a non stop motor.

2 different games.

That's fair, but watch CCH manhandled DeSales with 3 D1 Seniors, and RB/LB going to Oklahoma, and watch SK...it would be a running clock.

Enough of the CCH/SK talk...for another thread

They don't play.

I was way off....predicted a 28 point win SK going away. Shows how much I know.
