Did Daniel Maescher get injured in the game? Saw a player get hit in front of BW bench late in 4th. After medical timeout, could not see the player's #. Heard he went to hospital???? Hope he is not seriously hurt. Big BW contributor and critical to the Tigers.

Prayers for a quick recovery.

The injured player was #26 Senior WR/DB Jake Massie. From what I heard from someone on the field, he landed on the ball after a reception and was apparently coughing up blood. Haven't gotten any updated info, but I think the trip to the hospital was more precautionary than anything.

Hope he's ok. He's had quite a season this year. One of those incredibly valuable versatile PRODUCTIVE player in all aspects of the game. He may not be one of the name players, but he certainly is one of the key cogs in the Tiger engine.

Coughing up blood seems like a pretty legit reason for an ambulance ride...any sort of internal bleeding needs to be treated immediately. I hope the young man makes a speedy recovery.
