Great run by Cooper. Love seeing some new NKY blood going deep into the playoffs.

Hear this 'move up' stuff every year. The size is the size (any more kids and they'd have to build on I-75). They scrimmaged Ryle and Cooper. Played 2 6A schools and Cov Cath (and had them down 21) - I think. Had a nice series going with Corbin. Also, LCA and Mayfield are Top 10 teams virtually every year. What more can they do? Will be a great game next week, no doubt. Congrats to Mayfield for a great win.

Mayfield and Highlands are way above the rest. I'd give the edge to Highlands. And I'm a Beechwood fan. Birds were just insanely good at a high level. Just murdered everyone for 10+ years.

Great thread everyone. We were on the Beechwood championship a couple years back. It's great to follow all the schools and teams and see how they are all doing. Thanks for all the insights! Related to Beechwood, they lose a TON. This along with moving to 2A, I cannot imagine how Rash gets them into the finals and past Mayfield. I can't see them having near the team they had a few years back that should have taken down Mayfield, but still lost (still haunts me :-) ). But, if anyone can do it, it's Noel Rash. I think the task is just way too much next year. Again, they lose a ton.

Sounds like a great game. I'm a Beechwood fan (ex parent) so keeping an eye on 2A. Definitely going to be step up with these teams. Lots of respect. But, will be fun and looking forward to it.

Obviously many posters have no clue what it takes to be a D1 QB. Going to Miami OH is not easy at all. Been there. I know. Mayer is great and Miami is a great school. Be happy.

Thanks for the honest feedback guys. It seems in line with what I'm hearing - that the fumble was questionable, but the other 2 were clear penalties. Honestly, that's good to hear that refs did a good job. Congrats to both teams for a great game. I heard the atmosphere was great.

Yes, I'm referring to the fumble call in the endzone. Reports from the field are saying that was the worst one of the 3 by far.

Seriously guys...this is big. 3 TDs called back. What do people think about the 3 TDs called back against BW who were there - I'm hearing mixed reviews. Obviously, big calls, though. 3 TDs called back is unheard of.
