swamprat
Playboy founder dead. Playboy finders, meanwhile, are all somewhere between 35 and 55 years old. I'm pushing the big 60 and finding the old man's Playboy was the height of my adolescence.

rjs4470
I had a subscription for several years in college, and I often bought copies after my subscription ended up into my early 30's. It really was a great magazine, and I did enjoy the articles (and no sense lying, the pictures as well). For me, the digital age killed Playboy like most other magazines I regularly read. HH was a great character and a legend in publishing history.

swamprat
When I lived in Milwaukee, in my early twenties, I was a card holding member of Playboy Club International. My friends and I frequented the Club in Lake Geneva, now called the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa. Fun times. I miss my twenties.
lawildcat
I had a tub full of Playboys that Mr. Cat, for reasons that I'll never understand, threw them all out in the trash. :ohbrother:

Science Friction
Before I just just posted ,the thread that was immediately above the Playboy founder thread was the "Hard wood" thread. What a wonderful and glorious juxtaposition.

Science Friction
That's incredibly disturbing on so damned many levels... You banging together your very old pool balls in a Playboy Club is a distasteful, awkward, and uncomfortable mental image , at best. Kinda like me fiddling with my digits at the local Hooters. TAC
Wife said the priest at St Charles mentioned Heff in his sermon Sunday. Referencing how surprised one might be to see him in heaven prior to someone else's arrival.
