Tigerpride94 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Tigers JV continue to be undefeated with 2nd JV win over Trinity. I’m sure the Shamrocks will get revenge this week with the Frosh game.

theguru Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 What is the deal with Trinity's JV? Are the Tigers that strong or is it a combination of factors?
TigerMom Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Tiger JV did go 10-0 as freshmen last season
EastSideJunkie Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 What is the deal with Trinity's JV? Are the Tigers that strong or is it a combination of factors? Small senior class and a lot of sophomores and juniors playing key roles on varsity.
mexitucky Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Small senior class and a lot of sophomores and juniors playing key roles on varsity. On top of this year's crazy good Freshman class? Holy Moly, they are getting geared up for another huge run
Trinity alum Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 On top of this year's crazy good Freshman class? Holy Moly, they are getting geared up for another huge run From your keyboard to God's ear!!
jimmyref Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 St Xavier JV is undefeated beating Trinity twice, Moeller, Central and PRP with the 35 points tonight being the 2nd lowest scoring.
Sinbad 74 Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 (edited) I would have thought to see some significant improvement on the part of the Trinity J.V. Team in this second go around with the frosh tigers. But we just have to accept what it is and move on. I hope the Trinity frosh team duplicates their first game earlier in the year. MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 I don't usually give a plugged nickel about JV scores, but this is the kind of score that catches your eye as you scroll down the Football Forum and drags you in. It may mean next to nothing, but wow, it certainly leaps off the page.
warbeagle Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 intersting score. Indicator of the future ,.. perhaps. Ask Uk about how the indicator of the score at the end of the 3rd quarter has been in games against florida. Sorry couldn't help myself. I will say this, Beatty's success is based on superior coaching staff, a system and committed players with time in the system. His results speak for themselves. He has 12 state championships and is looking at #13 this year. That would be more than St X has in their football history. Look at the results the last few years between Trinity and the rest of the state, the gap is getting wider. With that being said, St X has a good program with probably 200+ players and plenty of talent. Without Trinity in the way, St X would have 20+ state championships. St X is due to win one. I believe Trinity has 12 of the last 13. Sooner or later St X will win another one, but I don't think it will be this year.
