Remember that when your kid is on a stretcher because of poor sportsmanship.

Most injuries occur when a kid lets up and the whistle hasn't blown.

Every injury that occurs as the result of dirty play SHOULD be unacceptable.

Really sad how you are trying to spin this. What about the other 6-7 guys on defense who are standing up and do nothing when it's snapped? The coach should be suspending that kid.

I would expect the other 6-7 to be going hard.

You guys need to contact Khsaa and nfhs and encourage them to change the rule where the official is more active or the center is protected.

Or the coaches need to teach good sportsmanship.

I can't believe the defense of this play by adults on here.

If it was just playing hard and not against the rules why was North flagged for this and the noseguard ejected? Bush league play.

Was he ejected for the play or the extracurriculars afterward?

My understanding was that it was for the play.

He was North flagged and ejected for what was an illegal and dirty play.

Hate that the young man got hurt. Should not have happened IMO. Cheap play.

Guy would be riding the pine the next game if he was on my team.

Unless of course, you told him to do it.

Maybe that is something they should look at.

You would think the coach wouldn't allow something like that to happen. Guess not, sad that a young mans season could be over with months of rehab because someone was butt hurt about getting beat.

Apparently the kid was told to dive for the ball, not for the knees......
