Figured this one would be similar to the game last week. Congrats Somerset.

What happened at the end? I heard something about the North Laurel defense diving at the center's knees when he was snapping the ball with the Jumpers in victory formation. Were they trying to cause a fumble? Sounded pretty dirty. The center is injured and at the ER.

Wow. If that happened, the kid or kids need to be reprimanded. If it happened more than once, then that's on the North Laurel coaches.

I walked out right as that happened and missed the play. Radio guys said it was during victory formation and I think they said NL Coach was giving the player an earful afterwards. I would be shocked if NL Coaches ordered or directed the play.

Hard hitting game all night, second half saw several penalties...not from dirty play just a lot of penalties compared to the first half.

It was 16-6 when North scored a long TD with 55 seconds to go in the game. North got the 2 point conversion which made it 16-14. They tried the onside kick but Somerset recovered. North had no time outs so Somerset went in the victory formation.

Another quality win for the Jumpers.. Congrats.. LCA and Danville better be on full alert that they have another high quality & capable team to deal with in there district..

Where do you find the list of ejections? I was told that he was ejected but it was on the last okay so I'm unsure

This play has gotten a lot of attention. Somerset is in Victory Formation and North Laurel had just called a time out. On the previous play the QB just kinda stood there and didn't immediately take a knee. So on this play the interior linemen fire off into the knees of the center. The center had to be taken off on a stretcher and had an MRI today to see how bad the injury is.
