You're right. I know the coaches at all those schools but I'm into it more than a lot of other people are. Apparently it was a joke that went over my head, but it got me to thinking about how many people know who the head coaches are. There are probably a lot of regular posters here on BGP who don't know the name of Trinity's head coach despite all his titles and success.

Yes, Mike Brown is a problem but he isn't the one who:

 

- let's his team fall apart at critical points in the game - that 2016 Wildcard loss to the Steelers was an embarrassment and Marvin should've been fired immediately afterwards

- has little player discipline - countless issues

- has a horrible offensive scheme - 3rd and 3 and we throw a 2 yard out

- can't win a playoff game - it's sad that one of the winning'est coaches in Bengals history has never won in the post season!

 

These things don't consistently happen in New England, Green Bay, Denver, etc.
