Oklahoma 31 Ohio State 16

They'll face at least 2 teams better than this team.

Who...Michigan and Penn St.? I'd take OU on a neutral field against both of them...I think most people would.

OSU will more likely than not beat them both.

I don't think anyone is taking OU over PSU or Michigan on neutral field. No way.

If OSU - ranked #2 coming into the game - is really bad - is that a referendum on the state of NCAA football this season?
OSU isn't that bad. They have WAY more talent than anyone in the country outside of Bama and FSU. Even behind Barrett they have 2 dudes who would start for at least 95% of teams in the country. OSU was at 2 based on the potential they have to be that next level team. They clearly haven't lived up to that potential for a multitude of reasons.

Then does that mean OSU has two more losses coming?

If nothing changes, they're losing to both of them for sure.

Basketball season never starts in Columbus. Football season is year round. Trust me no one is ready for basketball in Columbus.

The one thing I will say about last night was I was genuinely impressed with OU's fan base. A generally very classy group of fans. Very respectful in victory. They're are some genuinely awful fan bases out there but OU is not one of them. If that was Wisconsin or Penn State there would have been some major fights break out in the shoe when OU started to pull away. Those fanbases in particular are the two most classless in the country.

The team with the better QB won. Barrett was 19 of 35 for 183 yards, no TDs, 1 INT. Mayfield was 27 of 35 for 386 yards, 3 TDs and no INTs.

Defense is an obvious problem for OSU. The D gave up 927 yards in 2 games, a 463.5 per game average so far. If they can't fix the defense with the offense they have right now, I don't see them beating Penn St. or Michigan and I'd be just fine with that.

True.

There is some pure insanity in this thread.

I see at least 1. Meyer is prepared to ride JT until November.

JT Barrett passing yards last 5 games:

Oklahoma 84

Indiana 304

Clemson 127

Michigan 124

Sparty 86

Elaborate.

Penn State or Michigan?
