With OSU talent level they should never be beaten by anyone except Bama or FSU. If they lose it's because they were out coached.

What about getting blanked on the big stage by Clemson? OSU is not a "big dog" in college football period. TV wants them to be for commercials. Big10 is the baby pool of the power 5. Big10 has no business playing in the playoffs.

Underachieving, extremely talented, dudes.

Fair enough. You may be right, time will tell.

Do you think they're ranked where they should be as of today?

Basketball season never starts in Columbus. Football season is year round. Trust me no one is ready for basketball in Columbus.

What season will it be at OSU during the college football playoffs?

I guess you didn't know they have four guys, at least, expected to be drafted ahead of Baker.

Because Baker doesn't project as an NFL QB. There have been a lot of those guys.

At this point. They are a top 20 team. They are still top 10 based on talent and reputation.

Try to keep up.

Back tracking confuses everyone.

I felt they should have started at about 10, but I'm just a college football fan so what do I know. I thought they should have slid to about 10, but was somewhat surprised they put them at 8. Usually they don't fall 6 spots on 1 loss.

Until OSU makes a QB change, there's nothing really to discuss here.

He does struggle against good teams.

He does struggle against good teams.

It's amazing how different he is from his first season. JT stepped up every time in big games his first year. Penn State, Mich. St, Michigan. He played well in all 3. Yeah they lost to VT but that was also his 2nd start. The dude just isn't the same.

Whose backing tracking? I didn't say it. I posted it in response to a question. Again, try to keep up.

There weren't 10 teams you could have put ahead of them at the beginning of the year. At worst OSU would have been at 6.

Agree. I wonder what changed.
