I have seen both play. They are very good players. Euton has a very good outside shot and at his height can get it off about anytime he wants.

 

Does major D1 prospect mean Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, Uconn?

 

No disrespect, I just think it is a little early in their careers to be declaring major D1 prospect.

Well on another thread , they said Florida and Alabama coaches were there looking at them.Of course that is against KHSAA rules to look at freshman but if they say so, who am I to argue

I couldnt agree more that this is a joke. Having had the opportunity to see both Belcher and Cooper play several times, how can you have them listed somewhere? I dont care if they are the last players listed.

Have not seen him play recently but did see him play in 5th and 6th grade AAU. He was a very good player at that age.

 

He definately put up good numbers last year.

 

Was he held back a grade when he moved from Lexington to Mcreary Co.? It is my understanding he was taken in by foster parents.

 

D-1 Star? I hope the dream comes true for Aaron.

 

I hear all of these other posters talking about their players, etc, but I have no doubt in my mind that Watts is the best freshman in the state. That is a bold statement, and I stand by it.

First of all there is no "they" it was me.

 

Since when did Florida and Alabama answer to the KHSAA. Any college that wishes can watch kids play. I sat beside Reggie Hanson when he came to Rose Hill to watch Mayo when Mayo was in the 7th grade.

 

Your just gonna have to get used to the fact that Euton and Jackson are that good. All the jealousy in the world won't change that.

Can you explain this? What defines looking at? Can the KHSAA tell a college coach he can't come watch a high school basketball game? Obviously Im not part of the RH camp, but this rule just sounds absurd.

It sounds absurd because it isn't true. College coaches can watch any game they wish. Tubby Smith attended the Rose Hill vs. Lex. Cath. game when Mayo was in the 8th grade and he didn't turn his head when Mayo was on the floor.

 

The KHSAA isn't concerned about what games college coaches attend. NCAA rules govern contact with players.

 

Someone who has never been recruited or been around anyone that has been recruited might get confused.

I agree, thats the way most the legit ratings would be anyway...I would throw Scotty Hopson- UHA somewhere on the list of juniors though to give us a top 5....I would rate them

2.Hopson

3.Slone

4.Mackey

5.Thomas

Man Ms. Devries has some major control. I wonder if Billy D., Tubby, and the other D1 coaches know that they have to get there blessing to recruit this state. Hey In My Opinion do you even have a clue what your talking about?? You better drop this argument quick. When TCat4life start siding up the Rose Hillers its time to quit.

You guys are talking about how kids are getting overlooked but Bolus, and that he is ranking kids with less talent ahead of other kids(Ex. Euton being ranked high than other kids). Well if you read down below the list of kids, it says, "Bolus ranking are based on college potential." So because a kid is better now, doesnt mean he is better college material and that is what Bolus' rankings are based on.

Hey, they were bragging , how Billy Donavan and Alabama's coach were at Rose Hill to see the boys ,now some one threw the KHSAA rule out there to 'em. I don't care if every coach in the state and out comes to see them, don't make 'em any better or any worse. Look it up, if you care. If you don't then forget it. Do you really believe Billy Donavan came to Rose Hill?
