I just never realized that for $400 you could get ranked by Bolus, the Hoopscoop, named to the All Area team, named MVP at 2 camps, and named as an Honorable Mention All American by Street and Smith.

 

In My Opinion, if you think that Jackson and Euton are not that good then that's ok, your wrong but what else is new. It is the tone of your post that reek of jealousy and bitterness that are disturbing. Whether you realize it or not, and I don't doubt for 1 second you don't, you have done everything possible to discredit the accomplishment of two 15 year old kids. I believe that due to the absolute absurdity of your post all you have done is decrease your credibility and increase the awareness level of both Dakotah and Chad. I'm sure I speak for Mr. Euton when I say thanks for being there. Your efforts have been far more valuable than anything $400 could buy. :thumb: :ylsuper:

Good points. Euton has potential for sure. But in order to get listed in those categories, it does take funds to travel to the events you have to play in order to be seen. Not every kid gets to go because of financial constraints. Bottomline, let the season play out and then make your decisions. Rose Hill plays an easy schedule, but they do travel to Louisville for the King of the Bluegrass. I would like to see Rose Hill paired with Doss or ETown, then we would know more if the rankings are legit. Its coming, just around the corner.

Dont really agree with that statement. If your good enough you will be seen. Do you really think all those kids that get invited to the ABCD, Nike and Reebok camps have families that are financialy set? There are lots of kids out there that come from poor families that play AAU ball and get seen all around the nation. Bottom line is if you are good enough money wont be the reason why you dont get to play and be seen.

I can agree with that except for the easy schedule part. In addition to the King of the Bluegrass Rose Hill also plays @Lex. Cath., Lexington Christian, @Morgan, Belfry, and preseason vs. Mason. The schedule is much stronger than last seasons.

 

Look I can live with it if some thinks that Euton or Jackson are rated too high. Quite honestly I have not seen alot of the other kids on the list. You guys are talking about how kids are getting overlooked but Bolus, and that he is ranking kids with less talent ahead of other kids(Ex. Euton being ranked high than other kids). Well if you read down below the list of kids, it says, "Bolus ranking are based on college potential." So because a kid is better now, doesnt mean he is better college material and that is what Bolus' rankings are based on.

 

 

Kane Belcher is 6'8" is a good ball handler, shooter, scorer, and even a better passer. That sounds like potential to me.
