Buccaneers/Miami Opener May Not Happen.

At least not on opening day.

Hurricane Irma may force NFL to move or reschedule Buccaneers vs. Dolphins - CBSSports.com

The article states Orlando or Jacksonville as options and Raymond James Stadium not an option, because Miami won't want to turn a home game into a road game.

However, if Irma comes up the middle of the state, there is no option in Florida. Orlando got creamed by Charlie, who made landfall in Punta Gorda and crossed the state from the southwest in 2004. Jacksonville would be in the path of the storm as well. Tampa Bay would not be an option, either.

Looking more and more like these two teams are going to be playing 16 games straight.

Ugh. I get it as they share the same off week, but I would negotiate to play it this Thursday or for a later Thursday going into their shared bye weeks.

This is a fantasy football time bomb for me.

Jon Gruden's take this morning on Mike & Mike was that they should definitely just play it Week 11 and deal with the no byes. Said it isn't right to move the game to a different location when many of the players and staff have families in the area that they need to be worried about evacuation and who knows what else.

I've had a roller coaster going on. BGP league I have Zeke/Ajayi/Jacquizz.

Think I heard you'll get Zeke for Week 1.

The league I'm thinking of I have Jameis, Mike Evans, Jacquizz (Bench), Landry, and Martin (Bench) as a stash for good measure. We have short benches (only 5 spots), and I had also stashed Andrew Luck. I lost Willie Snead for three games because of his suspension after my draft. All that left me with one clear droppable player (backup defense - Jags, who I really liked BTW) to cover three lost starter spots.

It was ill-timed.

Were I on either roster, I'd probably need to rest week 11. Or maybe this nagging hamstring would be too much to play through.

Jameis should go all Randall Floyd and make a big deal out of this.

Best friend is in a 2 QB 12 man league with Jameis and Smokin Jay Cutler. Guy is starting Scott Tolzien and Josh McCown this week. I have Doug Martin and Jacquizz Rodgers is all my leagues as well. Thankfully week 1 is just a crap shoot as far as fantasy goes anyways.

In my main league (the one I won last year) I have Ajai and Evans. I'm weak at RB and will likely have to start Terrance West, but I have decent, if unspectacular receivers. The good news for me and anyone who gets hurt week 1, you get helped out week 11, which is probably a more important week. Week one is usually a crapshoot anyway, and at least you're not dealing with other byes and injuries.
