Who wins this one and why?

This will tell something about both teams.

More so, Etown.

CAL should win but this could be a close contest.

If you believe that defense wins championships, CAL should take this contest.

CAL 34- Etown 21

I've been saying all year Etown is legit and they dismantled 6A North Hardin 50-14 last week. I think Etown will make their name known if they can win this week.

CAL 35-7, and the 7 comes late.

I think this is a toss up but to pick this as a blowout blows my mind. You have no idea about Etown apparently.

I have quite an idea about CAL.

I agree I think Cal wins this game going away 38-21. Etown is a solid team but I don't think they will hang with Cal for 4 quarters.

I think Etown is solid also. I think this could be a close game.

CAL wins but I think Etown keeps it somewhat close, 14 points or less.

If E'town can't hang with CAL, then I'm guessing they can't hang with Central, Belfry, and Corbin at the top of Class 3A. This will be a very interesting game on numerous fronts.

Going with CAL just because they are home team. At E-town, would go with them.

Both of these teams will be playing in Lexington.

GCHS just my opinion on ETown and I could be very wrong on the game, but this year Etown doesn't have to compete with Belfry, Central, or Corbin unless it's in the championship due to the new bracketing. Etown,Catholic and Boyle are very equal at this point in that other side of the bracket. Let's see how it plays out in the next few weeks. This week I think we will good a good picture on Etowns side of the bracket with Lca and Catholic,cal and etown,Wayne and Boyle. I believe Wayne is the best team in that bunch.

I'll take Etown in a close one. This team is a different bunch of kids than what most people expect out of Etown. Multiple people predicted that the Panthers would start 0-3 this year. Two monster wins later the Panthers are on the verge of starting 3-0 and having an extremely high probability of running the regular season table. Coach Brown will have his boys ready to go and I believe Jay Becherer (22 yards per carry) and Derek Smith (11 yards per carry) along with Tyler Durbin's steady hand under center will be the difference for the Panthers.
