Boyle County vs. Danville

Woodford County vs Franklin County moved to Thursday game will start 30 minutes after the boys soccer game featuring the same teams.

 

Soccer kickoff is moved up to 6:00pm, and football kickoff is anticipated to be approx. 8:30pm.

Marion Co. at Bardstown is now 7pm Thursday.

I'm all for playing in the rain Friday

Louisville is forecast to receive between 1 and 2 inches of rain and no thunderstorms. Northern Kentucky is expecting the same amount of rain with some thunderstorm activity.

Even 2 inches of rain would destroy a lot of natural grass fields.

On Thursday 9-17-17 we had 2.5 inches of rain in Louisville. It started a little after practice until midnight or 1 am.

The pictures below where just an hour and a half into the storm with not even an inch accumulation, still almost 2 inches to come down. Luckily we didn't play until the next night and had a sunny Friday to dry out the field.

One of our coaches went to paint endzones early that Friday and field was still too wet. The parking lot near soccer was under 3-4 inches of water, had to wade thru to get to my truck.

Harrison Co. vs. Montgomery Co. has not only changed days, but also time and location.

The game will now be played on Saturday at 6:00 AT MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
