I'm not surprised by this score. Warren Central is really good. Ranked 21 in the nation by Maxpreps

Both teams had starters out on D. The refs were carefully ruling the game. Made some calls against both and missed some against both. They did a good job with the intensity the game was played. The teams controlled their emotions , mostly.. I think the clock running out may have caused WC to panic at the end. Spiked the ball twice. The last time on 4th down. I'm recovering with my beer.

Trinity will recover from this "scare". Still many young players learning their way. I think this was a teaching moment for the players and coaches. I'm thankful the Rocks have Big Mo at home next week before Male.

Rushing — Trinity, McGuire 23-125, Moore 4-37, Tully 1-22, Bohn 7-6. Warren, Elliott 15-179, Holland 11-50, Tate 17-57.

Passing — Trinity, Bohn 17-23, 312, 1, 0. Warren, Tate 16-25, 366, 3, 0.

Receiving — Trinity, Moore 8-127, Miller 1-78, Racculia 1-42, Florence 1-23, Strothman 2-19, McGuire 2-15, Bailey 1-4, Palombino 1-4. Warren, Griffie 8-193, Bell 4-101, Holland 2-39, Goods 1-22, Elliott 1-11.

If a team is able to pass the ball and protect their QB effectively against the T D-Line you can have success against the D.

Although I do remember someone saying that a starting CB was out, but I don't suspect it would make that huge of a difference.

Sounds good to me.

Don't get your hopes up.

Got to be able to protect that QB first, not sure there are many KY teams that can handle that defensive front.

Moeller is the best team on the Rocks schedule....worried about that one.

Trinity University with another big win.

I believe Trinity just beat the best team on their schedule for 2017. Moeller does not usually have the speed Warren Central possesses.
By far the toughest schedule ever played by any ky team. I know it must be the toughest Trinity has ever played. With the way Trinity was penalized tonight it is a lucky thing Trinity did not face warren central's starting q-back.
George does not have the speed and agility of the senior QB Tate who played for the Warriors tonight. George is a better passer but also much more stationary. Trinity made one more play than WCHS, and that's what it takes against a very talented squad. The starting DB will return next week. He would have made a difference. His speed and experience were sorely missed. The new and "improved" concussion protocol is a whole new issue for the medical staffs and coaching staffs. Trinity now owns the longest winning streak currently in the Commonwealth at 17.

The state title isn't even a feather in Trinity's cap anymore. It's kind of sad that there is no other school in the state, private or public, who can compete with them and their infinite resources. They really need to go independent and just play nationally. It's not like they don't have the national players or exposure. A 5 year run is one thing. A 30 or 40 year dynasty is another. Trinity needs to move on to bigger and better things. The dollars they could earn would far outweigh the dollars they already make.

The starting corner was out. Warren Central was very, very talented and one of the fastest team's I've seen. But I will say 3 long TD passes and the sophomore DB in there in replace of the senior - Wilson - missed a tackle on all three.

Was in Indy for some work and able to catch the game. Actually, sat on the WC side with couple of folks I know from the area.

Julius Brents - the best DB for WC - was not playing but that team is loaded. Can't imagine there's a team that will be as good as WC on Trinity's schedule the rest of the way. They're 3 TDs better than Carmel was last week.

Trinity has a long way to go....but still 2-0 against the top two teams in Indiana. Think about that, yes I said still a long way to go. They made a lot of mistakes.

But a win is a win. Aric McDuffie again was the best player on Trinity's defense. By the way, Rondale Moore played some corner.
