I couldn't find a thread on it. I'm sure i overlooked it.

Anyone else agree season 5 was total garbage. I'm very disappointed.

Wife and I are almost done with season 4. We took a long break after season 3 because we thought it was getting a little too ridiculous. Glad we've got something to look forward to.

I wouldnt bother watching, honestly.

The show is flawed, but the biggest problem is they had Underwood ascend to the Presidency way too soon. And yes, it got too far-fetched, but I expect that going into any fictional show.

Season 5 was pretty weak, IMO.

That said, if there is a season 6 I'll watch it.

I completely agree. Once Frank was made POTUS it seemed like that was kinda the culmination of events. I bailed on the show after 2.5 seasons. The first season is probably as solid as just about any show, but even season 2 dropped off a littel in my opinion.

Mrs. C1 and are hooked and enjoy it regardless. It's definitely in our top 5 shows series wise.

Our biggest issue was which one to watch: Homeland or HOC?

Just like with most series they ebb and flow. Haven't watched season 5 yet. We'll wait until weather goes south and winter viewing is more enjoyable. I'll keep any expectation low based on hback20s feedback. :thumb:

I hated season 5. I won't ruin it for you, but it makes no sense.

I wasn't into it. Watched the first season and bailed. Spacey was good, but it was a bit much for me.

As a big House of Cards fan, this is just very disappointing. He's a tremendous actor, but such a shame he is being accused of this. His apology was also less than stellar.

His apology is in the article as well.

House of Cards/Netflix have announced that the show is done after season 6 (which probably was going to happen anyways).

So, fellow HoC watchers... What do you think? I see tons of people calling for them to kick Kevin/Frank out of the show and let Claire take over but honestly I would not be a fan of that. I'm still on the train that the season will open with Frank waking up from his coma after being shot.

Pretty disgusting allegations...he is a talented actor, but I don't care what they do with him on the show.

That "apology" is just awful. Using these disgusting allegations as an opportunity to officially come out just adds fuel to the bigoted fire that burns in some people who like to paint homosexuality with the same brush as pedophilia.

His apology was terribly lame.

It's been a pretty bad run for some Hollywood types ever since the Harvey Weinstein stuff.

He's an idiot and his response proves it.

The show had gone off the rails anyway. Netflix has cancelled it.
