In the early 2000s there was a DL from Central that went to Michigan, believe his last name was McKinny and an OT from I want to say Murray, Corey Zerbal (sp) I believe was his name. Not sure if they finished there, but remember they both started their college careers there.

 

McKinney went to Michigan and transferred to UofL , but never played. If I recall there may have been some mental illness issues

Congrats. By all accounts he is a fine young man. I remember seeing his dad play at Centre. Who else from Ky. high schools have played at Michigan? I remember Doug James and Bubba Paris, who both played at DeSales, I believe.

There was a Madisonville defensive back in the last few years that played at Michigan.

I think this is all coming from a rivals.com story last month about Stanford trying to flip him.

 

Herron's twitter account mentions nothing about Stanford, though.

Trinity players have never done well for the most part at Ohio State, or Michigan.

Stanford is a great school right up there with the Ivy League schools in academics and a contender each year for a conference championship in football. His problem will be homesickness.

Really impressive for the young man. Stanford is one of the top universities in the nation.

 

This is THE school that I would go to. It has everything. Literally, everything. Palo Alto is beautiful, great weather, great academics, and GREAT connections post college.
