I wonder, what did he do, that would cause him to want to attempt suicide?

Bill Curry said in an interview a while back, when Terrel was having "hamstring problems", that TO looked and acted like someone that is searching for help.

Not trying to stir things up here...but is he looking for more attention?

It's a mans life were talkin about...

This is just a very strange story. Something is not right.

Why cant he have an allergic reaction?

Well for that fact that ESPN is reporting that a Fire Rescue worker told them that he was taking them while they were there is one reason. I dont think he would lie about something like that....do you?

Interesting story... I've been up and down on T.O. over the past few years..I've loved him, hated him (or disliked extremely sounds much better) and then I've been a little in between... But I'd never wish physical harm on him, and if he was indeed trying to commit suicide then I hope he gets the help that he needs, and lives a long healthy life from here on out.

If he really wanted to kill himself there are alot more sure fire ways to do it than taking pain killers. This is a classic example of a guy who has to be in the spotlight.

The main thing I'm seeing is the fact that he only took 5 pills, I believe is what the story said... I'm no expert, but in the classic attemped suicide by OD cases, they generally take a lot more than 5 pills.

It said he had taken 5 pills until last night. Last night he finished the bottle off which was over 30.

They said he was onnly able to take 5 of the 40 pills..

The friend attempted to pry them out with her fingers, then was told by Owens that before this incident he'd taken only five of the 40 pain pills in the bottle he'd emptied. Owens was asked by rescue workers "if he was attempting to harm himself, at which time [he] stated, 'Yes.'"

BEFORE last night.

Ahh I get ya... The way it was worded threw me.

KTVT-TV in Dallas reported that a woman named "Etheridge", likely his publicist Kim Etheridge, called police at 7:51 p.m. to report a suicide attempt. KTVT-TV reported that Owens ingested 35 pills.

I'll go along with the attention part. But the attention that he is wanting and needing, is for a problem that he may have. I don't think he was doing this for publicity. If so, then he really needs help.
