August 21, 20179 yr Won't be soon enough. I'm so sick of the transition from 275E to 471N. It's insane that it backs up almost to the Wilder exit every day. I live in Cold Spring and have to drive to Rookwood. Soon as I get on the highway it's just traffic til Ohio. Then Ohio is smooth sailing.
August 25, 20179 yr The bridge is open!!! My morning commute is finally back to normal. It's taken me at minimum 50 minutes to get to work this week, and today is was back to 20 minutes. I'm glad to see the traffic off of 275.

I will say that while I personally experienced very little inconvenience when our project was ongoing, the improvements since it's completion make me realize just how bad it was before we got the new bridges. By far, the most horrible experience was Shermageddon.

August 27, 20179 yr Got to drive north and south bound using Ft. Washington Way yesterday. I had to chuckle when I saw they still have the truck detour signs up by Turfway road. So 275 interchange was backing up while we just cruised on by in the fast lane. :thumb: So the next question is how long is this "bandaid" going to last???

They are still working on I-71 North from the Tunnel to just past MLK. Now the big question is why does it take Ohio so long to finish their road work?
