Ms. Gadot is quite captivating in this movie.

The movie is being very well received by both critics and fans.

Personally I think it was very well done, there was a scene or two that I could have done without but this was a very very enjoyable Super Hero movie.

She is (and should be) a cornerstone for DC for many years and movies to come.

We agree on this JD. I think the only thing that really didn't work properly was the villain, but it is a minor complaint overall. If the upcoming DC movies are more like Wonder Woman as opposed to Suicide Squad or BvS then things will work for the DCEU.

I've been tired of super hero movies for so long because they all seem the same. Ms. Nachos really wanted to see this, so we went. I really enjoyed this one. They may have overcompensated by making WW a complete beast but I didn't mind. I just don't remember her ever being depicted as Herculean.

My review: 4 1/2 plates of nachos out of 5.

Most of her incarnations have been like that. Just the ones that made it to TV in the 70s and 80s toned her down a lot. Much like they did to Aquaman, just to a lesser degree than they did to him.

In DC Canon Wonder Woman is powerful on the same scale as Superman.

It's easily the best of the DC Extended Universe (which doesn't count the movies before Man of Steel). In and of itself, that doesn't say a lot, because the DC movies have not been all that great. But this one is actually good.

I am a big fan of what Marvel has done with their movies. That being said, IMO Wonder Woman was as good if not better than all of the Marvel introductory movies (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant Man, Doctor Strange).

It was sooo good! Excellent casting of Gal Gadot & Chris Pine.

Loved the girl power, it was there without being obnoxious at all. I kept hearing to watch for the thigh jiggle when she landed; the intent to show women can do great things without a perfect bod. (Although I sure would trade with Gal Gadot any day of the week, lol).

I thought it was the best DC movie yet. What I say next is not intended as criticism, just my take. I thought it was sooooo similar to Captain America. Female with a shield instead of male with a shield, WW1 instead of WW2, gritty-worn somewhat darker environments, small band of soldiers on a special mission in both, love interest Peggy Carter vs Steve Trevor.
