The Corbin clue tells me it's probably the original KFC.

 

That's correct. That's Sanders in the original KFC. Much of the equipment and kitchen stuff you see in the pic is now in the museum part of the restaurant. If you ever come through town, it will be worthwhile to stop and have lunch and look at all of the old Sanders memorabilia. Lot of great history in there.

I have a cousin that is a Judge in Indiana that is very proud of his KY Heritage, I'm making him a wooden distressed version of this flag (15 stripes and 15 stars) for his office. I love this flag, I honestly had a tear in my eye when I saw it in person the first time a few years ago.
