I figured this one would be a longshot but it holds some personal significance to me. This is the aftermath of riots over forced busing in Jefferson County schools in 1975 and that picture was taken in the parking lot of the high school I attended. It was the first Friday night after school started and I was at a football game there when a demonstration started on Preston Highway in front of the school, it quickly turned into a riot. We were basically trapped and the adults with us had to do some cross country driving on the schools campus to get us home. At that time most of the bus drivers in Jefferson County were private contractors who owned their own bus and kept them at their home but because of threats against them they started parking them all together in the school parking lot under guard. The riot spread to the area where the buses were parked and all of then had their windows knocked out and I believe the inside of 2 were set on fire.

I'm certain you guys know the little girl/now woman in #92 .

 

The phone in #91 sold for nearly a quarter of a million bucks at auction. Apparently belonged to a pretty wretched individual.
