Appears to be an Indian fellow so I'm gonna guess something to do with Ghandi, probably his killer. No idea of his name. Was the picture of the fire in the original post following his execution?

The 24th, was Black Thursday, when selling reached critical mass. Panic ensued the following Tuesday. The market lost about 25% on Mon the 28th and Tues the 29th.

 

Black Tuesday is the day associated with stories of sellers and investors jumping out of windows after losing everything.
