Clyde
Spurs were up 22 or 23 points before Leonard injury. Leonard had 26 pts and 8 rebounds and had held Durant to 4-11 shooting. Huge shame if he is out. 18-0 run after the injury
NEERFAN
Zaza has injured the two best SF in the league in one season.
TheDeuce
Leonard had already rolled that ankle once. Get outta here with dirty play.
futurecoach
Zaza has injured the two best SF in the league in one season. Not exactly sure what was dirty about that. If Leonard didn't have an injured ankle before it, I don't think anyone says anything about it because what he did is what every defender does. Just a very unfortunate thing that happens in basketball.
bugatti
The NBA has made a point to eliminate that play from the game. Now I don't think he went in there with the intent to injure him, but he knew exactly what he was doing. There is a reason Van Gundy was saying it should be a flagarant foul. gchs_uk9
Did they call a foul on that play? Yes, as they should have. I'm not sure anything more than a foul is necessary in that situation.
bugatti
Yes, as they should have. I'm not sure anything more than a foul is necessary in that situation. Mostly, I agree. It is similar to a defenseless receiver in the NFL.

I think the rule's intent is to keep a straight up defender from standing under a shooter.
