Fern Creek's new home uniforms

Coach Abell tweeted out a tease for the players on the last day of school before Spring Break.

The uniforms are dye sublimated all logos, numbers, etc are dyed in not screened on or sewn on. Has the Cincy Bengals style shoulders, Fern Creek across chest, numbers on shoulders are a little hard to read, rear where name plate would be has same logo as both hips, which is Mizzouri style tiger head. Belts have an orange game belt built in.

We hope to get the matching away uniforms after some fundraising this spring and early summer. We also got in matching under armor style warm up shirts have orange shoulders and tiger stripes down the sides, sleeveless.

The dye sublimatation has come a long way, years ago a semi-pro team that we played from Columbus had some horribly ugly ones, they were imported and very cheap quality. The ones we got seem very high quality and have a 5 year warranty

Those are REALLY sharp!

Meh. Tired of the all black stuff.

Black is a school color at FCHS??

I know that. Just not a fan of an all black uni. Just an opinion Pi.

Well. I know it was your opinion, I just wanted to get to the root of how you formed it. I wasn't trying to attack, just asked a question.

I didn't allude to an attack. Where did you get that from? Like I posted, not a fan of a predominantly black uni. However, you and I don't matter anyway. If the kids like it, that's what matters.

LOVE!

I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to jersies, but I am a fan of this actually. Bonus points for the oversized tiger on the pants. Really think it pops and ties the entire jersey in.

The one big critique though I do have is the number on the sleeves. Very, very hard to see and as a result doesn't serve a ton of purpose except cluttering up the sleeve. Either would have preferred the number in a different color or a different logo. A sweet "FC" logo in white trimmed with black would have really popped.

The kids are going to love these though.

You're right, the tiger head on the pants is sharp.

Any pictures of the helmet?

Coach Abell hasn't told me what decal he decided on yet. The helmet will still be matte black with black face mask. I think it is some version of the tiger head on the pants. That logo is also smaller and centered on the back of the jersey where the name plate would be
