Any 16th Region followers have a too early preseason poll ready yet?

My (early) top 4:

 

1)Boyd Co.

2)Elliott Co.

2)Greenup Co.

2)Rowan Co.(if Woods returns)

Sleeper Bath Co.

Wow Greenup lost 4 starters.

Boyd lost 5 seniors.

Bath lost two of its top scorers.

Look for Morgan Russell Fleming and Raceland to be in the mix.

1) Elliott

Elliott with Spencer and Dickerson back will be in the mix again. They may have others back that I'm not aware of too, but the loss of Chase Porter will certainly hurt.

I honestly think that 3 through 12 are interchangeable and their ranking will depend on offseason improvement. Once again the 16th region will have a lot of parity. I am also not from Ashland.

I'd like to Greenup get out and give Gage Hughes a chance to show his stuff at Rupp.

Similar style as Jake Ohmer who stole the show this year.

Elliott County will return 3 sophomores starters from this years team

(Spencer 22.3 ppg Dickerson 14.3 ppg and Evans 9.0 ppg). So next year should be interesting for these young Lions.

I'll go with Elliott until someone beats them.

 

I think the expectation is that Woods will not be back at Rowan but I haven't heard anything confirmed or anything on that.

They have some nice young players in middle school coming up, they're going to be around for some time!!

What's wrong with the Carter County schools? They're usually more competitive than these rankings.

They will both be a little lean but I think with their coaches both will be in the top 10 easily.imo
