Who is the best QB in the state?

Featured Replies

I think he will weigh out his options and determine the best fit for him academically and athetically.

If you are not sure about Ammons get in the car and take a ride to Frankfort, and your Next Post will be: another vote for Ammons!

Kaelin Ammons.

Ammons is all around a good quarterback and he has that offense mastered. He can make even the best defenses look weak. The only thing that seperates him from being a great quarterback in high school. He needs to have a big win against a big team.

A good example would have been beating Lex Cath last friday.

Tandy is best I've seen of late, and that includes Pulley.

Thats because Pulley wasn't/isn't that great of a QB.

Great football player, but not a great QB. I really wish he would move to WR or SS at the college level. I think it is also the only shot he has at going pro.

Ammons is the best QB because he in the only True QB in kentucky... most team have QB... that are more athlete's then QB's...JMO

I'd say Zack Lewis is a true QB he hardly ever runs the ball, when he does its because he has too he is a pure drop back passer.

1. Tandy - Christian Co.

2. Ammons - Franklin Co.

Better than Justin Burke?

Is Burke @ NC St & is he getting any playing time?

Also what grade is the Corbin's Clint Cashen in & how is he doing this season so far compared to last season?

Better than Justin Burke?

HHS played LexCath and Franklin Co. last year and I was more impressed with Kaelin than Justin..

Burke also had a slightly seperated shoulder and a bad ankle the game against Highlands. That was on the downlow but now people can understand what a competitor Burke was. Burke was a lot like Brohm in that if it was a big game then I would want the ball in his hands.

This is what most people never really knows about Burke. The St X game Lex Cath was getting drilled in the first half. Coach Sphire let Justin start calling his own plays at the line to see if Lex Cath could get something going. He marched 80 yards before the half and scored. To Coach Sphires credit he was man enough to put his play calling to the side and let Justin keep up this tempo. He brought Lex Cath from behind and St X escaped with a last second FG to win the game. There might have been a handfull of called plays that second half. The rest was Burke running the show. HE WAS THE SMARTEST FOOTBALL PLAYER THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN AROUND! Both of these QB's are great one's. Ammonds is a better dual QB although Justin ran for over 1,000 yards in his career. For my money if the game is on the line I want Burke though!

Another vote for Ammons.Period!

Like I have said on a previous post for game changing offensive player,Ammons is a leader with ability as well as heart and LEADERSHIP

Which are the qualities you would look for in a QB.Other teams may be successful with other weapons and not rely as heavily on a single player as does FC.He is just a winner plain and simple!
