My 1st Region Tournament memory.

Fieldhouse in the late 90's when Fleming County was still in the 39th district were some great high school environments.

These are mine as well. I will add the region final in the 10th last yr.

 

Bracken/Augusta 98-94 double OT early 2015/16 season at the Igloo was pretty special for a regular season game.

Not real sure of year (maybe 2005) when Pendleton last wins Regional by stomping Montgomery Co. by 25+ and my old Falmouth buddy, Jack Wright, is introduced at halftime with other 10th Region HOF inductees. Place was rocking that night like the old days.

I'll remember that game forever. Hinson's first year at Bracken, a lot at stake in that game.

For those not old enough to remember, this was the Billy Ray Fawns (47 points, 3 to tie it in regulation, 3 to tie it again in OT) vs. Shawn Myrick (44 points) show. 99-92 2OT win for the Indians. 1995 regional final.

 

At the height of the everyone vs. Mason wars. Had to be at least 5 schools represented in MoCos cheering section.

I'm gonna have to agree with you and go with the 2010 10th Region Championship game Mason vs. Clark. GRC made the mistake of wanting to sit on the home teams bench which was also behind the Mason County student section, that was not a wise choice at all.

 

2007 Mason County vs. Clark County was also another thriller, if I remember correctly the Royals lost that game on a missed over and back call.

 

The 2016 Final was also one I'll never forget simply because 75% of people in the gym were against Mason County. The semi-finals that year were also good with Paris blowing a 19 point 1st quarter lead and then Augusta knocking off MoCo.

Yes GRC wanted the home bench but didn't request the Royals fanbase to sit on the opposing side as well so the GRC bench was right in front of the Fieldhouse Krazies. Absolutely mayhem to say the least.

I sat on the Augusta side for that game. The only game I've ever cheered for them. The COOLEST moment I've experenced in HS sports happened. Early in the game, MoCo student section gave the old "We cant hear you" to Augusta's diminutive Student Section.

 

With a few minutes left in the game, and the Panthers clearly in control, the Augusta half of the gym, probably 1500 or so folks, all stood and in unison did the "we can't hear you" chant in return. It was as electric of a moment as you could imagine. I won't forget!

The band is the best part of the high school atmosphere!
