Needs to become a fierce rebounder/defensive guy to make it in the league. He is physically gifted enough to do that, but I don't think he is skilled enough to be a star post player.

He needs another year in school to develop more of an offensive game.

He has a better chance developing that offensive game going to the NBA and basketball getting 100 percent of his attention. Coming back to college could help improve his draft position, but going pro gives him a better chance at improving if he doesn't care about draft position.

Possibly, however UK's staff have shown they are pretty good at developing big men.

Yeah, but nothing compares to what he'd get in the NBA. I'm as big a UK homer as any and he'd get way better instructions as well as not have a bunch of restrictions by making it his full-time job and not something he did after classes lol.

Very true! Players get better in the NBA plain and simple. Now even if they never amount to much they get better, just means they weren't ever good enough to truly do much in the nba.

The main thing staying in college can do. Is give guys another year of being one of the best players on the team. Plus gives them a chance to improve their draft stock.

Big decision to weigh:

Try and stay to raise your draft stock vs. start your clock, get better, and cash in on the 2nd contract, where the real money is, sooner.

I don't know about you guys when you were Bam and I's age, but if I had the opportunity to sign a 7-figure contract this June, I'd bring 5 pens just to be sure I don't run out of ink.

The NBA draft is all about potential. You can't teach height. You can't teach (teach, not develop) elite athleticism. Bam has both.

His 4th double double of the season last night too is a sign to me that Cal has him playing the right position. JMO.

Needs to be more of a fierce rebounder as it is. I question his motor as much as anything. Also, Cal is using him only where he can produce. It is what it is.

Respectfully disagree. I think he has the best motor on the team. He could turn into another Chuck Hayes.

Off the charts good the last 2 games by Bam. Even he's admitted he went to no fried foods and more water, gatorade, greens and fruits. That he's dropped 10 lbs with the Coach Payne's extra conditioning and is energized and lighter on his feet. He's now looking like the Bam we thought he would be. Congrats to him on his change and work ethic. He sure showed me wrong and I couldn't be happier! Go Cats!
