The 12th region is getting even more interesting and unpredictable.

I only caught the last :50 of the radio broadcast, but in that time Lincoln had several chances and either passed on good looks or missed on contested ones. Real head scratcher after the way they took care of Mercer earlier in the week

I agree with this statement.

It was a great game and a wild atmosphere as Lincoln always travels well. I'm embarrassed to admit that they made more noise than the home crowd. Ads opened up a double digit lead in the first quarter, Lincoln closed the gap to 7-8 points at halftime, and then took a small lead into the third. Both teams had some opportunities, with the Ads missing some scoring chances in the third and having a few walks late in the 4th and Lincoln missing the front end of several one-and-one situations.

 

Lincoln had the inbound with a chance to win as 2.9 seconds were left on the clock but the Ads disrupted the handoff to Young and he had to make a desperate heave at half court that was off target.

 

This is the first time that Ed McKinney has returned to the Admiral bench that he's beaten Lincoln and its the first Danville win over Lincoln since 2013.

Danville led 20-8 after one quarter, 28-20 at halftime.

 

Lincoln led 36-33 after three quarters.

 

Danville missed two-straight front ends in the fourth quarter up two. That could've been huge.

 

Tanner Ford did a great job on Lincoln's final play. Not sure if he tipped the ball or not but Noah Young didn't have a clean catch and had to heave a shot from near half court.

 

Young led all scorers with 25, no one else from Lincoln had more than 8. Devin Alcorn fouled out with four points.

 

Danville led by Jared Southerland's 15. Zach T had 10, David Walker and Ford each with 6.

12th has got crazy but everyone knows Lincoln loves at Lincoln a lot better. Region is at Lincoln

This is how you beat Lincoln. You know Young is going to score but you can't let Alford, McAninch, and Phillips put up big numbers.

I am going to have to agree with Purple Pride. Boyle and Lincoln will represent the 45th district at region.
