What a difference a two months makes. Paris won by 4 early in the season. Montgomery Co is now missing Canada, who is likely their best player, due to injury. He is really the only guy on the team that can create his own offense, is their best rebounder, and probably their most steady ball handler.

 

Paris, on the other hand, just keeps getting better. Johnson really emerged a couple weeks into the year, and has turned into one of the best players in the region. He and Wells are probably the best tandem in the region, and the rest of Paris's rotation is really solid.

 

The comparison between the two games is about as drastic a tale of two directions as you will find. In Montgomery Co, you see a team that has been negatively affected by their record, decimated with injuries, and is all out of sorts. In Paris, you see a team that has found a rhythm, figured out their roles, and grown in confidence.

It happens. Tates Creek probably has 500 more students than Montgomery and is getting thumped by everyone, even small "A" size schools.
