Garth Brooks at USBank

Featured Replies

Anyone headed to any of the Garth Brooks concerts the next two weekends?

My lady and I are going to the last show on the 29th. However I am vending the other four. If you happen to see Vendor #879, feel free to introduce yourself.

Was just talking about the concert today; mad we didn't get tickets

I'm sure Schue would eat pig intestines if it meant getting his hands on those prized tickets for a Garth show. :) I wonder who Jim would choose to watch if he was sentenced to watch either a Garth, Henley, or Cetera show?

I won't be there, but I caught him at Rupp a couple of years ago and it was a very entertaining show.

Saw him in Charleston last year, though, and was underwhelmed. He didn't seem to be as into it that night.

I unapologetically love Garth.

My nephew and his wife are there tonight.

I'll be there Saturday night. First night out without the little guy, so should be interesting.

Wife is already freaking out about leaving him with someone else. :lol2:

He sure can get that place rocking, and that is just what I notice from the concourse.

Anybody have to use their license and credit card to get in? I'm getting emails saying it is needed. Only problem, I'm not going. bought for the Mrs. and her buddies.

It is a blast. I went last May to a show and the energy was great. Even if one is not a fan of the music, I appreciate gifted entertainers.

Decisions, decisions. Garth or dental work without anesthesia.

I could be very wrong on this, but I don't believe it is needed. However, I believe it's an option to have the tickets loaded on your CC, so you just swipe it and shoe your license to prove its you.

I think you can still just print of tickets like regular and get in. Maybe someone that was actually a fan can confirm for me.

My understanding there are 2 different kinds of tickets -- paper and paperless. If you have paperless, you need the credit card that purchased the tickets to get in

For those that went this weekend, how long did it take to get in and get to your seats.

Did they do two shows the same night, like they did in Lexington?

That was a mess!!! Especially if you went to the second show.

^No.

Saturday and Sunday this past weekend, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this coming weekend.

My wife and I went to his 1st show this past Saturday night. He rocked the place out...neither of us had ever seen him. It was a heck of a night. If any of you need a place to stay, I recommend the new Hampton Inn right beside Newport on the Levee. It just opened up in December. First class spot.

We went to Brother's before and took in a little Hoffbrauhaus afterwards.

Shout out to my man @mexitucky for joining us at Brother's, the evening tour of NKY and the curbside service dropping us off at the US Bank steps! :lol2: Good times.
