January 18, 20179 yr Not even close for me. My mom used to write movie reviews that a Baltimore radio station would occasionally read on the air. They would "pay" her with a record album. She got a couple of good ones as I recall - "Surrealistic Pillow" by Jefferson Airplane (before they became the abomination that was Starship) comes to mind. But one of those albums was positively horrific. It was called "Will Success Spoil Mrs. Miller?", and remains to this day the absolute worst recording I've ever had the misfortune to hear. Nothing - other than finding out why a hot water bottle was often draped over the shower head - scarred me for life like this album. I will offer up a snippet or two. And feel free to weigh in with your personal "worst of the worst".
January 18, 20179 yr Here's another Beatles interpretation by Mrs. Miller. Might as well close this thread... this is the winner ... or loser I guess... Wow, this is horrific... cringeworthy!
January 18, 20179 yr [video=youtube;TQlI2gxvF-g] You just never took the right shrooms to see deeply into its brilliance. It only takes a slight flashback to see how awesome this stuff is. I'm lovin' it :ylsuper:
January 18, 20179 yr I'm having a real hard time remembering just who I saw this guy warm up for many years ago, but all I can recall is not being able to wait for him to finish, and that the crowd didn't seem too forgiving or receptive of his so called brilliance. It seems that he'd do this type of strange noodlin' and then look at us expecting some sort of praise that never came. Perhaps he is amazing, but I just never got around to seeing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcPOhQ_cFXw
January 18, 20179 yr Luke Bryan put a concert on in town at a local farm. My house is within "hearing distance" of that farm. I got a personal concert for much of the evening. Not once did I hear anything remotely resembling a good song. So, I submit...every album he has ever made.
January 18, 20179 yr Here's another Beatles interpretation by Mrs. Miller. I listened to this earlier today and I've been dizzy and really nervous ever since. Thanks.

I put him in the category with Whisperin' Bill Anderson and Porter Wagner of country singers that made it but shouldn't have.
January 19, 20179 yr Here's another Beatles interpretation by Mrs. Miller. Her first LP, ironically titled Mrs. Miller's Greatest Hits, appeared in 1966. Made up entirely of pop songs, it sold over 250,000 copies in its first three weeks and reached #15 on the Pop Charts.
January 19, 20179 yr Mrs. Miller - Wikipedia I love this.........Singing in an untrained, Mermanesque, vibrato-laden style, according to Irving Wallace, David Wallechinsky and Amy Wallace in The Book of Lists 2, Miller's voice was compared to the sound of "roaches scurrying across a trash can lid."
