FallGuy24
I would actually beg to differ. If a team has better athletes than you running a ball control offense keeps the other team from having the ball. If you can dominate the time of possession and have a solid defense you can give high powered offenses with great athletes fits. Look at Georgia Tech and Navy. They have adopted that philosophy and are able to beat teams with greater talent.
Knute Rockne
I hope not!! It's hard enough to compete in 6a , especially running the offence he runs. Tell Scott County that-- Meade Co- Bellevue Wash, Glenbard in Illinois-- I could go on and on...
Harry Doyle
Tell Scott County that-- Meade Co- Bellevue Wash, Glenbard in Illinois-- I could go on and on... Lowndes Co GA until a couple years ago, Cambden Co GA and Grayson GA who finished 2nd in the nation this year (even when they went spread). Oh, and Central Hardin who they are 0-2 against in the playoffs (CH was for one of those wins).
BigRedDiesel
Rogers name has been tossed around, is this gaining any traction now? Rogers would be a home run hire... for MC's opponents. Hope he has reviewed the rules regarding actively recruiting players. He struggled with that area of the code in the past.
Stepchild68
I would beg to differ on the hiring of Mike Rogers.....Rogers has over promised and under delivered everywhere he has been since Graves County!!!!!

Harry Doyle
I think they can do better than Rogers How so? I get the easy to poke at him (I guess) for not winning a region title, but Bowling Green and Christian County would keep a lot of people from doing that (while at Warren Central). Then, PT? That place seems to have deeper issues going on than who the coach is.
