Louisville 77 Indiana 62

Good win for the Cards.

If I was a Louisville fan, I think I would have been pleased with the overall outcome of their last three games before they started.

I think we all knew this four-game stretch would be brutal. And it featured a couple games that have been seemingly impossible for Louisville to win the last few years (Virginia and Kentucky) and one that has been trouble for UofL constantly for a decade (road game at Notre Dame). I'll take 2-2 when this is all over, but the performances against UK and Indiana give me some confidence heading into the ND game I typically don't have.

Good bounce back after losing to Virginia. Win or lose against Notre Dame, 2-2 or 3-1 over this four game stretch is good.

I feel good about the ND game as well, and I will certainly take 3-1 in this four game stretch. Won't play a tougher stretch the rest of the season.

I did terrible on the college contest. Picked Indiana in the super game. And picked Creighton to beat Villanova because the game was at Creighton and they were undefeated.

Missed this game as I was at the Citrus Bowl (poor choice in retrospect :)). Did Rick change the starting lineup? Looks like Anas' minutes (34) were WAY up compared to Mangok (6) with good results.

15-18 from the FT line is obviously engouraging.

Caught the last few minutes on satellite radio with the IU call. They were saying that UofL dominated from tip to buzzer.

This was a game built for Mahmoud in a way a game like Virginia isn't. Up and down, more running than wrestling for the bigs. It was a good decision and it paid off, just like the call to bench Mitchell apparently.

IU got down early and tried to come back a couple times. That Louisville held them off is a good sign of improvement since the early season when they let teams like Baylor and Purdue back in when they had them down.

Ricky still 10x the coach Crean is .
