LIPTON BASH Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Democrats lost over 1, seats under Obama | Fox News 1,042 to be exact including congressional and state legislature seats and Governor mansions.
Jesse James Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 If he had stayed much longer he would have been the only one left.
mcpapa Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 ^Probably. His approval rating is through the roof compared to almost everyone else.
cammando Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Obama approval rating was comprised by the same folks that had Hillary winning easily....

Obama approval rating was comprised by the same folks that had Hillary winning easily.... Exactly. The numbers dont jive with the lost seats. I would like to see the demographics of these polls and the breakdown of them. Heavily weighted like the election was. Unless I get on BGP its hard for me to find one person that likes Obama.
Clyde Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Here's an article from 2015 talking about the losses. One interesting note was that voters are much more extreme now in sticking to a party. Have Democrats lost 9
Hellcats Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 I can't take this cartoon serious since it doesn't have W handing the award over. Anybody who doesn't have W squarely pegged as the worst POTUS over the past 50 years if not ever is delusional. Hate Obama all you want, but this nation was in a death spiral when he took over. We have at least leveled out. Compare what Trump is inheriting vs what Obama inherited. Not even close. We may be headed back there in a few short months, but that's neither here nor there. :taz:
TheDeuce Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Unless I get on BGP its hard for me to find one person that likes Obama. Shocker. :lol2:
Voice of Reason Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 I think this is pretty good list of President rankings: New ranking of U.S. presidents puts Lincoln at No. 1, Obama at 18; Kennedy judged most overrated - The Washington Post One thing I agree with on this list and most every other President ranking I have seen - George W. Bush is the worst President of my lifetime and one of the worst ever. I see Clinton and Reagan as the two best since Kennedy.

Two of the slowest recoveries occurred when the government attempted to regulate the recovery. These occurred under FDR and Obama. One of the strongest recoveries started under Reagan and continued under Clinton, because they cut taxes and brought about some government reforms. Unfortunately, government still grew, but the economy grew faster. The economy has shown growth in the last 8 years, but due to high government spending, regulations and government growth, the economic growth has been slow. The leveling out would have happened anyway.
hidinout Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Economically speaking its pretty easy to say Obama was freaking awesome if you dont care he ran up 7-8 Trillion in debt in 8 years . And wrecked our health care system. W was pretty bad , he sucked actually , and was light years better the great Barry Obama.
