December 20, 20169 yr The dogs bark; the caravan moves on. While whiney liberals continue to have a hissy fit, Trump & his team will press on with reducing government and making it more efficient. Yep no different that the conservatives with Trump, the liberals with Bush, the conservatives with BC, nothing new here.
December 20, 20169 yr Question, why are we debating what Trump does with his legitimate businesses, when half of the country supported a criminal enterprise who pimped herself and husband out for favors, influence and profit? So the crooks get support but the legitimate business man gets the scrutiny. More partisan attempt to delegitimize his presidency. More nonsense.
December 20, 20169 yr I'd hate it for my red state friends when the federal tax dollars from California stop pouring into their coffers. 2016’s Most & Least Federally Dependent States | WalletHub® #wheredallmystatesmoneygo #shortsighted The red states will never understand this, never. Because they push their poor to the Mississippi Delta as an example. Never seen, never heard a few small voices in the legislature. They are big takers, but are 1st to criticize welfare recipients.
December 20, 20169 yr We have a lot of really important serious issues facing our country and the hotel that the Kuwait Embassy has a party at is what we're talking about? Really? Seems petty to me. I agree this is no biggie to me, but it will be news every day and unless DJT changes, he will tweet all day long.
December 20, 20169 yr That goes both ways.....the only problem is financing that part of the wall that was unaccounted for. Where do the red states give to others more than they take in fed $$
December 20, 20169 yr Where do the red states give to others more than they take in fed $$ Bengal I dont know that answer and am working so dont have time to use my best friend, but I can tell you I give plenty to the cause.
December 20, 20169 yr When asked point blank, he has been very clear that no part would be repealed until there is something in place to replace it. DJT yes Ryan and the boys no. Let's see if DJT stays to his word or falls to the boys. His cabinet prospect in this area certainly looks like he will not stay to his word.
December 20, 20169 yr I agree this is no biggie to me, but it will be news every day and unless DJT changes, he will tweet all day long. Him tweeting in and of itself doesn't bother me. The argumentative and derogatory nature of his tweets do though. He can't attack everyone that criticizes him. It's childish and completely beneath the office IMO.
December 20, 20169 yr Author We have a lot of really important serious issues facing our country and the hotel that the Kuwait Embassy has a party at is what we're talking about? Really? Seems petty to me. I don't think the POTUS using his office and the power that comes with it to profit financially is petty. Does this particular case violate the clause? No clue. Again, we're going to hear about these types of situations more and more. Do we think the phone call to Taiwan, breaking from decades of unofficial policy, was just him trying to be nice or do we think it might have something to do with a resort he's trying to get approval on? If it's the former then it's just politics. If it's the latter or if this particular case is true then it's the POTUS using the office to gain financially. The difference is not petty.

It's incredibly petty IMO. It's not in yours. Color me shocked we don't agree. :lol2:
December 20, 20169 yr Author It's incredibly petty IMO. It's not in yours. Color me shocked we don't agree. :lol2: I do not expect us to agree on everything. I find it hard to believe anyone , regardless of political persuasion or bias, would be OK with the POTUS using influence to benefit financially.
December 20, 20169 yr I do not expect us to agree on everything. I find it hard to believe anyone , regardless of political persuasion or bias, would be OK with the POTUS using influence to benefit financially. It doesn't shock me because many in our country feel that the government should be run like a corporation. I don't agree, but there is a significant number of people who do believe that way. For them, this would pose little conflict, as profit is the key for a company. Maybe we become Tumperica, or the United States of Trump.
December 20, 20169 yr Which is why Clyde says get used to it. This will be happening a whole lot while Trump is POTUS. And that is why I said who cares. I hope he ignores them and does the work we elected him to do. He doesn't need to get caught up in numerous scenarios and drama of the left.
