GWB really did not respond to the relentless pounding he took from the press. He thought it was not his place to do so and he was classy about it. However, by not responding he allowed the press to control "the message". Trump is sending the message that he will not "let" others say things about him and go unchallenged. It may be beneath the presidency but Trump is different and we all better get used to it. Some of his differences are good and some are not. No one has said they have given him money. I wish everyone was this concerned when the Hill was SOS and selling our country to the highest bidder and 20% of our uranium to Russia. Let's wait and see how his family decides to handle ownership of around 150 companies around the world. If he is in no way involved in any business decision, then he has not violated the rule. No one expects the rest of his family to not operate their companies and not make a profit. They plan to have a press conference about this sometime in early January.
