Okay, let's hear it. Friday night in Ft. Mitchell these two will get after again.

What say you?

I think CCH wins something like 28-10.

Is this a "complete and utter blowout..?" Just want to know if I should be offended or not.

Ha, ha! I should have been more clear.

The blow out statement was directed towards the people who were picking 42-7 and scores that are 4 tds or more.

Definitely not meant to be an insult towards you . . . . .

But then again--I did wonder a little bit about the "DeLaSalle" comment. . . . . . .

The CovCath faithful are looking for a good game. It is a few fans of other teams calling for the wider margins.

I look for a competitive game and hope CovCath can muster some points against the Beechwood defense.

Fair enough . . . . .

I don't really think that the CovCath faithful is worried about scoring points on Beechwood . . . are they? (I am not feeling you there).

Just having some fun with your "defense" (for lack of a better word) of how strong Kettering Alter is.

Just my opinion, but I would NOT debut him over there (on offense) in that game.

:thumb: Agreed, especially with games that should be easy wins against South Oldham and Oldham or Grant County (can't remember which). Although maybe they figure that the earlier they get him, the more rest of Brown and the more experience for the playoffs.

CovCath will handle the Beechies with relative ease. CCH 34-Beechies-10

Not understanding everyones comments about not bringing him in against St. X, so it's ok to play Brandon every down on offense, defense, and all special teams and risk injury to him even sooner? Sooner or later he needs a break and better sooner than later. If Joe's the guy go ahead and get him in there. As a matter of fact St.X and Waterson are great times to get him in there since Brandon will need even more rest against bigger, faster, deeper teams and quite honestly if he makes a mistake or two thats fine since those games really mean nothing to CCH in the grand scheme of things

Also some good points. Maybe everyone is talking about bringing him in for the easier games so that he can get a rhythme and get in the flow of the offense, such as Dixie would have been the perfect time.

Brent Buckley got hurt in the Dixie game and Brandon was his back-up so that was out of the question since they did'nt even discuss Joe playing offense until this week in practice. He took his first snaps on offense just yesterday so it can only be games in the future as far as the discussion goes

Bwood keeps it close for a half then the Blue Colonels slap it on in the 2nd.

If that coaching staff has been watching this team the last couple of years and "didn't even discuss Joe playing offense until this week in practice" then that tells me all I need to know. I certainly hope CCH has a back-up for Brandon that has actually touched the ball before now.

My point on the St. X game is this: Joe should have been getting some spot time on "O" all along, most agree on that. However, he wasn't. His first game action on that side may come with some hesitation, especially considering it'll be new to him and I doubt he'll be 100% comfortable over there yet. That, to me, at the #9 team in America, smells like disaster. Now if you're suggesting a couple of special plays to get him some touches in that game, fine, but as the back-up running back -- I'd pass. That game means nothing to this season, and I think the risk outweighs the reward. If #20 needs some breaks, which I'm sure he will, let Deters carry the mail and get Joe 100% comfortable with the plays (remember, this team doesn't huddle, so learning on the fly can be a challenge) and ready for the home game with Watterson (another game that means very little to the season by the way, except to try and exorcise some demons from last year's debacle).

Should the "Joe debate" be a separate thread???? Just wondering......

Go Tigers!!!!

Nice job CCH86, nothing like letting the cat out of the bag. Any chance you can post some of the play book?

Yeah I'm sure that was part of their big sneak attack. It's not exactly a surprise, anybody in and around the program knows it and obviously so do their opponents.
