MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Wow....the margin is surprising. Impressive win for the Colonels.
Tigerpride94 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Covington Catholic shot lights out! Impressive team!
tark the shark Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 If they shoot like they did tonight, they will be a tough out come March. The St X announcers were very complimentary.
Cousin Sal Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Can we schedule Bowling Green vs. Covington Catholic tomorrow afternoon? Would love to see those two collide.
Tiger1 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 It's early but it seems like CovCath is the clear cut favorite in the 9th and the only possible threat to them is Cooper.
Lawnboy13 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 CCH shot 66% from the field. 10/16 from 3.....18 assists on 29 baskets. with numbers like that you win going away most ever time, Congrats to CovCath. NewCath gets St. X tomorrow in Bradstown, let's hope the Breds can repeat what the Blue Colonels did tonight.
PurplePride92 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Wow....the margin is surprising. Impressive win for the Colonels. Agreed and agreed.

colonel-fan Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 CCH frosh and JV also won. Pretty sure that was the first loss for St. X at each level. Very nice showing for the CovCath program.
colonel-fan Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 CovCath cruises past St. X Covington Catholic’s basketball program has a storied legacy and is one of the few teams that has dominated St. Xavier over the past few years. The visiting Colonels defeated St. X 73-47 Friday night at the Brother Johns Wills Activity Center. Since 2011, the Tigers (3-1) have only lost by 20 or more points six times, CovCath (4-0) is responsible for four of those losses. “You have to give a lot of credit to Covington Catholic,” St. X head coach Kevin Klein said. “They play the game the right way. They’re very physical and take you out of what you want to do. Offensively, they space the floor and move the ball so well and have so many weapons. If you cheat off one guy they make you pay with another guy. They play high level basketball on both ends.”
Clyde Posted December 10, 2016 Author Posted December 10, 2016 If my math is correct CVH now has 1,726 career points at CCH (not counting his VMA year). Andy Listerman is #2 all-time at 1,730. Nick Ruthsatz is the leader with 1,980.

Bluesport Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Keep in mind: CCH is starting only one Senior.
