Individually, I have no doubt that there are idiots at every game. Again, I'm talking about 5,000 or more people doing these things together. Huge difference. I've been to games everywhere and I'm telling you that Indiana fans crossed the line.

It was a mass display of rudeness and vulgarity that just doesnt need to be repeated , you cant just say " lets try it " and have 20-25-50 fans end up in an ER . Or worse . Thats the point . UK offered to play IU on a neutral court , they refused . We not crying about being cursed at , there was real fear for peoples safety that day . And to say any where else in American that 1000's of people chant " your mom is fat " is just false . You are wrong .

Fans are rude and vulgar at every gym in America. I'm not condoning it, it's just not unique to IU. You're going to have to come up with more than that.

 

When UK fans feared for their safety, did they alert security or ushers and they didn't do anything? How was that handled?

Many more thousands of fans (I can't say 24K because I'm sure they all didn't chant) chanted "Walsh is gay" in Rupp and Florida still comes back.

 

To me, it is more about preparing his teams for March and April than it is worrying about opposing fans being mean.

IU could play the "it's UK's fault" card until now. If they really wanted to play they would sign up for the neutral court game. At this point it just comes off as them being scared and needing the at least 1 out 2 to be at home.

 

The goal is a national title. Playing the game in Indy is way more beneficial than Bloomington in achieving that goal.

I don't think IU is scared, Crean just doesn't want to give in to what Calipari initially suggested. I thought they were both being stubborn and somewhat petty. But now that Crean and IU are willing to schedule games against UL in Indy, makes me think they are more at fault in this dying.

100 people saying it? I wasn't at the game but remember hearing it clear as day on the CBS broadcast that day. You don't hear anything that only 100 people chant in an Arena filled with 24,000 people lol. C'mon @Wireman.
