CCH possessions are a lot of fun to watch. They really move the ball well and got good looks all over the court as a result. Seemed like every kid had 4-5 assists.

 

WHS struggled to get inside the 3-pt line for the most part, which would normally suit them just fine, but CCH isn't a normal team. No shot went uncontested. Parsons led Williamstown with 12ish points. He's effective when he asserts himself.

There is nothing wrong with scheduling tough opponents, Williamstown probably saw a different speed of play that will help them throughout the season. If Cov Cath is willing to play, lace them up and get after it.

I didn't think Williamstown was a bad team, it's just that Cov Cath is top 5 in the state and on another level than the Demons. I would venture to say depending on their schedule Williamstown will probably finish around .500, maybe better if they can find a way to get the Fox kid involved. Their pg was very quick, but probably only 5'8. Cov Cath moves the ball very well and any one of 5 guys will beat u on a given night. All 5 could average between 10-16 ppg. I like their team and can't wait to see them play some good teams @ the KOB

In a standard church league offense, you can't cuss when you miss a shot.

No.

I was interested to see Stanley & the new foreign exchange (?) student for Williamstown versus a team of the level of Covcath. Stanley is probably 5'6, extemely quick, and typically a solid shooter. Ruthsatz was very impressive defending him & if he did get to the lane, which wasn't often, Covcath's length gave him fits. I was very impressed with Ruthsatx defense & shooting. Frederick & Von Handorf also stood out. The new player for Williamstown (Randy?) looked to be about 6'5" with a good,strong frame & he was athletic. He needs polishing and got in foul trouble, but will definitely be an asset for them. Parsons also seemed to be about 6'4, good size, & fairly agile. Covcath was far superior, very fluid offensively and lock down defensively. Their shooting percentage had to be extremely high! The definitely are on track to be an elite team in the state. I saw Cooper in a scrimmage & right now Covcath looks better in my opinion.
