Ravens 19 Bengals 14

There is a lot of blame to go around. I am getting on the boat that Marvin may need to go. Just the same old, same old every week. They get behind every game and play catch up with a team that isn't built th to play catch up. Can't make extra points or even try 45 yarders. Poor tackling, although the defense has played decent lately. No running game, no protection ( better today but not great). AD can't be off a little, as he was today or they have no chance because they don't have a #1 or #2 type of receiver.

I have no idea where all the blocked passes late came from, whatever the case, AD did not adjust.

This is a bad football team.

I thought I was watching a volleyball game.

Really smart coaching by the Ravens at the end of the game.

After watching the replay, it's cracking me up.

I agree very bad NFL team ... Coach is too soft on his players ... I like Marvin Lewis just not as a head coach ... His teams play very undisciplined , hence last years playoffs ... Andy Dalton wasn't even close on a lot of his passes that weren't spiked back in his face ...getting paid way too much for third string talents ... Defense makes stupid plays at the worst times ... And they play on TV every single week ... Waist of a good 3 hours every Sunday because it is ths same Ol same ol....

You guys are funny

The Bengals are a scourge on the sport of football and a scourge on the city of Cincinnati. They are an nth degree polynomial equation which can only be solved by dividing by zero. This team is a late-stage , fourth-quarter melanoma. Call in hospice for this bunch of pitifuls! No wait ..... don't call hospice. Let them die a very well deserved , extremely painful death.

I do disagree here. Dalton is a legit starting qb in this league. He is a lesser version of Alex Smith. Both qbs can win a lot of games because they don't make to many mistakes. However neither will probably ever lead a team to a title. Smith has won a playoff game and never had a AJ green to throw to. Which is why I say Dalton is a lesser version of Smith. Dalton needs a guy like Green to still do well and help the team win games.

As bad as the Bengals have been this season it's hard to believe that they are still just 2.5 games out of first place. I don't see them winning the division by any means but it just feels like they should be 4 or 5 games out of first.

Key moment in the game that tells me it's time to move on from Marvin Lewis. End of the first half Bengals have the ball less than 2 minutes to go, run the ball, use clock and end up punting. Ravens get the ball with about a minute to go aggressively move down field and kick a field goal.

If that was a one-time thing, it would not be a big deal. But it is how Marvin Lewis coaches a football team week after week after week ....

Amazing watching the end of the Jets and Patriots game and its ending and the Pats have all of their timeouts left and it was a game down to the last minute and a half. I can't think of the Bengals hardly ever having all 3 of their timeouts either half of a game.

And don't forget the weird time-out he called just before the two-minute warning in the first half. Only a schizophrenic with delusional disorder would have called a time-out there. What a sick bastard!!!

How about the inexplicable TO Marvin called just before the two minute warning of the first half? So typical, though.

He seems to call a time out early in both half's every game!

Watching Oakland and Carolina now in a 35-32 game with 1:05 left to go and Oakland still has all 3 of their timeouts left.

Then after that Carolina had to call their last timeout with 1:05 left to play after an incomplete pass I guess other teams do silly things we just notice it more maybe watching the Bengals who knows.

This guy on Twitter had a good point on the end of the game:

@ANDREwperloff

Ravens obviously lucky the right Bengal didn't emerge to chase punter on game-ending safety. If it was 55, they'd need a new punter.
