The Golden Eagles continue to dominate. On to Bowling Green.

Running Clock early 2nd Quarter. For JC Sophomore Joe Jackson crossed the 2K mark rushing on the season (14 carriers for 247 yards, 2TD this game).

Final Stats (Unofficial):

JC 440 total yards (364 rushing, 76 passing)

Wayne Co 35 total yards (31 rushing, 4 passing)

Congrats Johnson Central - WoW

And my advice to Wayne County would be: Do not be Discouraged

Complete domination. Wow!

Congratulations Johnson Central

Is Johnson Central the favorite in class 4A? :idunno:

YIKES, that ain't going to win you many ballgames.

This was one of the most single sided Semifianls games I have ever seen. I fully expected a good game. I could have seen JC winning by 2-3 scores and leading throughout but did not expect this.

Not a knock on WC of the rest of 4A, but a question. Is JC that good this year or is 4A really really down outside of JC and FS? No semi final game should be that lopsided if you ask me

I'm anxious to see this game. Franklin Simpson has some grown men up front. Their game last night with John was a slugfest the first half and FS just eventually wore them down. It was 7-0 after 1 JH, tied 7-7 at half and both teams has some breaks go against them (FS fumbled on the one going in, John has a pick 6 called back for a defensive holding call that could have put JH up 14-0) in that half.

If Johnson Central rolls, then they are just on a different level than the rest (ie: Belfry in 3A, BG in 5A recently).

If the game is tight either way and/or a FS win, then you could make the argument that it was FS/JC then SW/JH a step behind going off scores, and then everybody else.

I love everything about the style of play for both of these programs, but put me in the FS camp (even if it is a homer pick).

Wayne Co. just ran into a buzz saw last night against JC. Nothing was working for them offensively and once JC was able to get up a couple scores things snowballed for the Cardinals. This JC defense has taken every team they've played out of their offensive rhythm. JCs pass rush took the Wayne Co. QB out of sync early forcing a lot of missed and forced throws.

This is exactly how it went down. Great JC team.
