Sure Johnson may have slightly outplayed him on Saturday, but as a UK fan with no love for UL I would trade Jackson for Johnson all day long. Jackson outplayed Johnson on the ground with 171 yards and 2 TD, 83 yards and no TD. The fumble was huge I'll give you that, put don't forget that Johnson was extremely fortunate not to have had his own fumble, a play which luckily turned from a likely turnover to Johnson getting about 20% of his total rushing yards on the day. Passing it was really pretty close. Johnson was 16/27 for 338 yards and 3TD with 1 INT. Jackson was 16/25 for 281 with 1 TD and 3 INT, however, one pick was the receivers fault and the last pick was on a desperation hail mary, not the QBs fault either. Bottom line both QBs accounted for 3 TDs, Jackson was at fault for one for turnover than Johnson. I just hate to see everyone trying to discredit a kid whose had one of the better seasons in college football in a while.

He's the best player in college football and the Heisman Trophy winner. For one day, Stephen Johnson had a better game though.
November 28, 20169 yr IMO, if Mayfield has a monster game this weekend and gets the win, he will steal some votes and finish 2nd. I would be beyond floored if anyone but Jackson wins it.

He played very well in a team concept that was well designed and exploited UofL weaknesses to pile up yards on long balls to open WRs.

They are Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma receiver Dede Westbrook, Michigan versatile star Jabrill Peppers, and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson. All are invited to New York.
