Lafayette has seriously lacked discipline every time I've seen them in person over the past two years. I think they have the athletes to win, but I think this one will be competitive till the end.

Making excuses? In case you forgot SK won! No excuses! SK made adjustments on defense and dominated the second half!

Nope haven't forgotten.

I appreciate the analysis but still go with Lafayette

What has changed since last year?

which team has more wins versus 1A and 2A teams? Is this a positive or a negative?

Which team has gone outside their district and played big boy 6A teams?

In boxing and football there are those that go looking for a fight and those that go looking not to fight. Lafayette has not backed down against Trinity/Scott County type teams.

Lafayette 6A schedule prepares them against teams that have not played 6A schedules.

What part of Lafayette's schedule impresses you? Beating bad Lex schools isn't something to brag about.

Walker Wood vs Cameron Racke they are 1-1 against each other. 2 Great quarterbacks that both can run and pass.

I would restyle your comment to "Walker Wood versus Cameron Racke and Matt Shearer". Find SK's best option is when both are in the same backfield creating a defensive nightmare. Really like Shearer's arm, better than Racke's.

Continue to hear about this through multiple coaching sources. Could be the difference in a close game, of which this one could be.

I just don't see SK being able to hang with Lafayette. To much team speed and better line play. Lafayette by 3 scores.

I like SK being the underdog puts all the pressure on Lafayette.

I sort of get the talk about discipline, but I will say this: last night's game against Tates Creek they showed a lot of improvement in this area. There were fewer penalties and their secondary coverage was a lot better. These are still areas of concern, but I do see improvement.

I'm guessing he's talking about the fact that they've played both Trinity and Male this year? And, of course, Scott County.

Every team has pressure in the playoffs.

Lafayette has an exceptional offensive line, QB and some good skill. SK has an exceptional offense that can score fast. If Lafayette can control the clock on Offense and make SK sustain drives on defense, they can win. If they cannot, SK wins. This game is a very good match up and should be a great game.

Lafayette by 2-3 scores

I think this will be close for which ever team wins.

Would like to see SK get it done but I think Lafayette wins at home.
