I can agree. I still get a little frustrated reading some of his stuff, but do like some of it. And I like giving him too! It's entertaining!

Keep in mind...it's a much different point of view for someone like me who does not have a vested interest in the outcome.

I am taking Lafayette for the sole reason that they have shown each of the last two years at least an ability to get the goose egg off the board when playing T. :sssh:

SK defense got 3 ints against the Camels.

You will have to agree that between Lafayette and Camels there is a huge difference in talent.

Of course never compared the two.

I don't think Lafayettes Oline is as good as last year. Landon Young is at UK. Alex Simpson is injured his knee a few weeks ago.

Young and Willis are both extremely good.

I'll take Lafayette by 14. Wouldn't be surprised if it was closer or an SK win. Lafayette's D is suspect at times.

Its in lexington so they won't be in front of the sk crowd.........

I will be rooting for SK but Lafayette is too much for them.

I think this week we finally get to see if NKy is good or if they just beat up on each other. Between this game and the Ryle game, we finally get our measurement. Are we ready to make a run, or is it the same ole hype in a different year.

I know my buddy @PepRock01 will be keeping a keen eye on both games.

As the build-up week goes on, I have begun to think discipline may win out over raw talent. SK's defense may not be competitive against Wood's legs and arm. Absolutely, hate the Pioneer's three front against the run. But, SK's offense is capable of putting points on the board in a hurry. If Lafayette loses their cool and show the lack of discipline they have become known for, we could see SK win this one.

Against Boone (and its the only way i have of evaluating these two teams), Lafayette seemed to be uninspired for the first half. Boone's offense pushed them down the field. Their team was undisciplined in every facet but especially defense. But their offense is explosive. The O-line can be dominant when it wants to be. They are big and strong. I suspect that line will be too much for the SK defense, which isn't that solid. I agree that SK has the capability to score early, often, and quick but I don't think its defense can stop Lafayette. Turn overs could play a huge role in this game if opportunity is given to either offense with a short field. If the turnovers don't go against Lafayette, I pick them to win in a high scoring game--let's say 50-42.

Again, against Boone, the Lafayette players came out and were exhibiting good sportsmanship early. A couple of hard hits against their skill players and they came up off the ground jawing. But that happens a lot with RBs and WRs. You know they felt the hit when they get up off their back calling the defender's manhood and family into question. No matter what they're saying, the very fact they're mad tells you they don't want too many hits like that. :lol2: The O-line gave a little extra after the whistle on occasion but all-in-all there wasn't anything that much different than with other teams Boone played this year.

More interested in Male/X. The runner up side of the bracket doesn't concern me until December. :walk:

Fixed that for you. :D
